An Elect Stone
“Behold, I lay in Sion a Chief Corner Stone, elect,…” 1 Peter 2:6
The Elect Stone (the “Chosen of God”) is the Chief Corner Stone of the Temple of God which is composed of believers who were chosen before the foundation of the world. Nothing ever occurs by chance with God. He saw this Temple before He created the universe. We were chosen in Him, our Lord, and He was chosen in the Council Chamber of Heaven to become the Elect Stone- the One who should be the Head of the Corner. His plans are all working out for the culminating scene when the gathering shall take place at His coming.
